This module's key point really lands a secure digital identity is genuinely the 'key' that unlocks everything else, from opening a bank account to accessing healthcare or government services. It's easy to take ID for granted, but for the millions of people without formal identification, that single gap can lock them out of financial and social systems entirely. I'm curious to see how this module addresses the balance between making digital ID accessible and keeping it secure and privacy-protected.

I learned that aome people can't access bank accounts and e money transfers because they do not have valid identification documents to permit them do so. I learned too that Digital IDs ensure state welfare payments, pensions, and disaster relief reach the correct beneficiary directly without corruption.
These verification also helps banks to be sure that the real owner is tge one collecting.

Digital identity is something I think about a lot in my job search and my community work. Without proper identification, people cannot open bank accounts, register for mobile money, or even apply for most jobs formally. Through my Skills and Opportunity Hub concept, I have thought about how important it is for unemployed youth to have their identity properly recognized so they can access opportunities, not just financial services but training and job platforms too. A secure digital identity really is the starting point for everything else in financial inclusion.
